U have been a savior brother..I don't know to say thanks to you. I have learned so many things from you. .and have recently enrolled to the mixing University course
Really we got an idea on pitch corrections thank you thanks a lot
Hate to sound dumb but what are the cross faders for again? I forgot.
Very well done. Simple and straight to the point. Thank you!
great tutorial, thank you! i learned everything i needed to learn.
Great tutorial! Thanks bro
2 minutes in…still nothing
Thanks for yet another gem to add to my arsenal!
thanks man, always lovin your vids
REAPER work with The Elastic Pro since 2004, more 6 years early!
that is such a great feature but Cubase is a lot easier and logic X is a lot easier when it comes to correcting vocals in pitch why is this? if Pro Tools is the best wouldn't they want eliminate more clicks away from the user so that they can quickly access and do things fast? it's almost like they're not paying attention to their competition. not good for business make it faster to access and to pitch correct logic is so much easier
great tutorial horrible artist lol but without them our potential would'nt get push
Yeeeahhhh….😫 lol great tut!
You're freakin awesome man!
I have a problem. every time i try it the way you did it i keep getting "No Elastic Audio Clips Selected" any way to fix that? i am using PT11 on 10.10
God bless you bro, you are very good
Great tip, alternative to Melodyne.
Great tutorial. Thanks! So clear and to the point. Also, who's the band? The song sounded awesome.
What's the name of the song? Would like to hear more!
thank you brother
Can this be done using audiosuites pitch shift with the same results?
good job G
Very useful Graham, I was able to fix many of the pitch errors I had on my mix with this tutorial! Thanks!
Not trying to be a troublemaker but why are you using Pro Tools LE?
Thanks Graham! This was concise and very helpful!
Use Monophonic on vocals!!!
Is it me or does this sound more natural that auto pitch correction?
Thanks for the tip I'm gonna try on this time recordI never even know it did that
This is a noob question so please forgive me. How did you quickly draw in the fade after you made your pitch adjustment on the vocal track?
Don't forget to DUPLICATE your playlists! 🙂
Excellent stuff man, really helped me out, theres just so much to learn with PT, and I'm now using Avid PT 9 which is even bigger and better. Cheers! 😉
@bobhowyousay Elastic Audio first showed up in Pro Tools 7.4
What PT introduced elastic audio?
thanks for the tips, but please don't compress your voice overs so much….shudders.
@davejohnsonmusic Hmm, I use PT9 now, but haven't noticed that problem. Have you submitted on the Avid Support page?
I see you are using PT8. Do you know of any quirkiness using elastic pitch in PT9? When I go up small, like 5 – 10 semi tones it can sometimes sound warbled. Also, when you break regions, you can sometimes here a click or pop where the regions are separated, but other times you won't here it. I'm using 9.0.3. Putting a tiny crossfade where the regions split fixes the clicks. It's just weird that it's inconsistent. Any thoughts on these issues? Thanks
@recordingrevolution Thanks, i've already got it.
@CHINE1070 Song is called "Dying For A Change" by Keilan. You can find him on iTunes and YouTube.
